Xiaomi is reportedly said to be working on Redmi Note 5 smartphone. During the past week, the alleged specs and photos of the rumored device were revealed through an unofficial source. However, today, a leaked photo has surfaced online that has unveiled several packages of a phone called Note 5A.
The newly leaked image, with the courtesy of IT Home, reveals that the boxes belong to the alleged Redmi Note 5A smartphone. The boxes are red in color and have a Mi logo placed at the right corner. This image hints that Redmi Note 5A is under development and in the coming days we are going to get more updates regarding the device.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A will carry downgraded spec-sheet as compared to Redmi Note 5. Since last year, the Redmi 4A was the cheapest and smallest version with the lowest specs compared to the other two Redmi 4 and Redmi 4 Prime models.
According to the previous leaks, Redmi Note 5 is said to have 5.5-inches FHD display, Snapdragon 630 chipset, 16MP rear camera and 13MP front shooter. The smartphone will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat with MIUI 9 skin on top and will have 3,790mAh battery.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 expected to come in models like 3 GB RAM+ 32 GB ROM, 4 GB RAM + 32 GB ROM and 4 GB RAM+ 64 GB ROM. The top 4GB RAM device is speculated to be priced at around $200 and $220 for 32 and 64 GB ROM model.
