Samsung announced its 8 core Exynos 5 octa processor for mobiles and tablets in CES 2013. It uses the Novel architecture which provides more performance without sucking up the battery. Rather ten having a single Eight Core chip it haves the Dual Quard Core inside one is Quad-core ARM Cortex A15 and the other is quad-core Cortex A7. Cortex A15 deals with tasks like gaming and video playback and passes the easy tasks to Cortex A7 like texting and email.
The chip will be aimed at high-end smartphones and tablets. Surprisingly while announcing the processor the former U.S. President Bill Clinton has came their. However When this chip came to sale it will get though competition from the Nividia Tegra 4 which were announced earlier this week and will appear in devices in the second half of the year.
